The mission of Waymark Co has always been to point people to Jesus Christ.

That is why the messages, ideas, testimonies, and blog posts on this website are freely available for anyone to read, share, discuss, or use. You do not have to buy a shirt to benefit from anything on this site. In fact, if you never purchase a single item but leave here thinking more seriously about Christ, then I consider that a success.

I appreciate every visitor who takes the time to read a blog post, look through a design, or simply consider the message being shared.

"If your goal isn't to make money, why not give the shirts away for free?"

The answer is simple: the message is free, but producing the shirts is not.

Every shirt must be designed, printed, packaged, and shipped. The website itself also costs money to operate. While making money is not the purpose of this website, I do need to support myself just like anyone else.

I think Proverbs expresses a healthy balance:

"Give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me." (Proverbs 30:8)

I do not desire great wealth. I simply desire to earn an honest living while doing work that points people toward Christ.

Jesus Himself taught that:

"The worker deserves his wages." (Luke 10:7)

There is nothing wrong with earning a living through honest work. The question is whether money is the goal or whether it is simply a tool used to support the work being done.
