The Stories Behind These Waymark Co Designs

One of the goals of Waymark Co is not simply to create apparel, but to create messages that point people to Jesus Christ. Every design has a reason behind it, and many of them come directly from experiences God has used in my own life.

Here are the stories behind five Waymark Co designs.

He Saved My Life

"He Saved My Life" is a design that resonates deeply with me because it is my testimony.

When I was around 17 years old, I struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts. I remember standing in the shower thinking that the people around me would be better off without me. I felt like a burden and wondered if ending my life would make things easier for everyone else.

While I was standing there, I heard a voice ask me, "Do you believe in Me?"

I responded, "Yes, I do believe in You."

The moment I said those words, I saw a flash of white light behind me. I immediately turned around, but nobody was there.

In that moment, I knew I was not alone. I knew there was Someone I could rely on.

That experience changed my life. Looking back, I believe God met me during one of the darkest moments of my life and reminded me that He had not abandoned me.

This shirt was created to remind others of that same truth. No matter how difficult life becomes, God has not forgotten you. He sees you, He loves you, and He is with you.

"Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." — James 4:8

I Carry His Name on My Back Because He's Been Carrying Me on His My Entire Life

This design was created because the message is true in my own life.

There have been many moments when I was weak, but God remained strong. When I look back over my life, I see His faithfulness everywhere.

I have lived through depression, car accidents, and even a tornado. Through every season, God carried me.

The message on this shirt is my way of acknowledging that reality. If I am willing to wear His name on my back, it is only because He has been carrying me through life all along.

Every blessing, every lesson, and every day I am still here points back to Him.

"When I am weak, then I am strong." — 2 Corinthians 12:10

I Am That One Sheep

This design is inspired by Luke 15:3–7, where Jesus tells the parable of the lost sheep.

In the story, a shepherd leaves ninety-nine sheep behind to search for one that has wandered away.

For much of my life, I have felt like that one sheep.

I wandered from God. I made mistakes. I went my own way.

Yet God never stopped pursuing me.

The beautiful truth of the Gospel is that Jesus does not abandon His sheep. When we turn our backs on Him, He continues to seek us. His love is patient, persistent, and far greater than we deserve.

When I wear this design, I am reminded that Jesus came looking for me. And if you are reading this, He came looking for you too.

The Person You're Lusting Over Is Someone's Father, Mother, Sister, Daughter...

This design was created because I wanted to challenge the way we often view other people.

In a culture that constantly encourages people to objectify others, it is easy to forget that every person is more than a body.

The woman you are looking at is someone's daughter.

The man you are looking at is someone's son.

Every person you see was created in the image of God and has value far beyond their appearance.

The purpose of this design is to encourage people to see others the way God sees them—not as objects for pleasure, but as human beings worthy of dignity, respect, and love.

If We Can't Forgive Others, God Won't Forgive Us

This design comes from a simple but humbling truth.

Every one of us has sinned against God.

The sins committed against us may hurt deeply, but when we compare our offenses against a holy God, we realize how much we ourselves have been forgiven.

Jesus willingly went to the cross to pay for our sins. He showed mercy to us when we did not deserve it.

Because of that, Christians are called to extend forgiveness to others.

Forgiveness does not mean pretending wrong never happened. It does not mean justice does not matter. It means choosing to release bitterness and trusting God with the outcome.

This design serves as a reminder that forgiven people should be forgiving people.

"Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." — Matthew 6:12

Final Thoughts

Every design at Waymark Co exists for a reason.

Some were inspired by personal experiences. Others were inspired by Scripture. All of them were created with the same goal in mind: to point people to Jesus Christ.

If even one of these messages encourages someone to seek God, trust Him, repent, forgive, or remember His faithfulness, then these designs have accomplished exactly what they were created to do.
