The Stories Behind My Messages and Designs (Part 2)

One of the goals of Waymark Co is to create messages that point people to Jesus Christ. Every design has a purpose behind it, and many of them come from lessons God has taught me throughout my life.

Here are the stories behind five more Waymark Co designs.

1. Your Value Isn't Determined by Your Bank Account

This design says:

"Person Behind Me: Your value isn't determined by your bank account, your family, your friends, or society. Your value was determined when God sent His only Son to die for YOU."

I created this design because so many people spend their lives searching for value in the wrong places.

The world tells us that our worth comes from our money, our careers, our popularity, or our accomplishments. Society constantly tries to define success for us. But none of those things determine our value.

Our value was demonstrated at the cross.

God loved us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. No amount of money, fame, or earthly success can compare to that.

One day, everything this world offers will pass away. The question is not how much money we made or how successful we became. The question is whether we knew Christ.

As Jesus asked:

"What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?" — Mark 8:36

2. Before He Formed Me in the Womb, He Knew Me

This design comes directly from Jeremiah 1:5.

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you."

Those words are powerful.

Before God formed Jeremiah in the womb, He already knew him. The same God who knew Jeremiah also knew you and me before we were born.

This design serves as a reminder that our value does not come from what we accomplish in life. Our value comes from the fact that we were intentionally created by God.

You are not an accident.

You are not forgotten.

You are not meaningless.

The God who created the universe knew you before you took your first breath.

3. I Am a Side Character — The Main Character Is Christ

This design may be one of the simplest messages I have created, but it is also one of the most important.

We live in a culture that constantly tells us everything is about us. Our goals. Our dreams. Our success. Our happiness.

But the Christian life is not ultimately about us.

It is about Christ.

God created me, sustains me, and saved me. Because of that, whatever I accomplish in this life belongs to Him.

Every talent I have came from Him.

Every opportunity I receive came from Him.

Every success I experience belongs to Him.

I may be a part of the story, but Jesus Christ is the center of it.

My desire is to use my life to further His agenda rather than my own.

4. I Gave Up on Myself but God's Will Is Greater Than Mine

This design is deeply personal to me.

There were seasons in my life when I gave up on myself. I did not see much potential in who I was or what I could become.

But even when I gave up on myself, God never gave up on me.

He continued to guide me, teach me, and shape me into the person He wanted me to be.

This design is a reminder that God's plans are greater than our plans.

There may be moments when we cannot see a future for ourselves, but God can.

There may be moments when we feel defeated, but God is not finished with us.

His purposes do not depend on our confidence. They depend on His faithfulness.

What God says is final.

And if God has a purpose for your life, nothing can stop Him from accomplishing it.

5. A Woman Is Worth More Than Her Body

I created this design because I believe it communicates an important truth that our culture often forgets.

Women are more than their physical appearance.

They are human beings created in the image of God.

They possess minds, talents, personalities, gifts, and eternal value that far exceed what can be seen on the outside.

This design was created to remind people that women deserve dignity, respect, and love because they are image-bearers of God.

Their worth is not determined by beauty standards, social media, or the opinions of others.

Their worth comes from the God who created them.

Final Thoughts

All five of these designs point back to the same truth:

Our value, purpose, and identity are found in God.

The world offers countless alternatives, but none of them last.

Money fades.

Popularity fades.

Success fades.

But the love of God and the truth of His Word remain forever.

My hope is that these designs encourage people to look beyond themselves and toward Jesus Christ, because true worth can only be found in Him.
