Your Worth Comes From God, Not the World

Your Worth Comes From God, Not the World

Your Worth Comes From God, Not the World

Your worth doesn't come from society or from other people. Your value and your worth come from God.

I have fallen into plenty of traps laid out by the enemy.

For a long time, I believed success came from wealth. I thought that if you didn't have money, status, or recognition, then somehow you were a failure.

I was wrong.

The real failures are not those who lack wealth, but those who spend their entire lives pursuing the things of this world while losing their soul in the process. Whatever you pursue above God becomes your god, and that is idolatry.

The world tells us to chase money, fame, relationships, comfort, and success. Yet none of those things can save us, and none of those things can fill the void that only God can fill.

If you feel lost, discouraged, or embarrassed about where you are in life, give your life to God and use it to further His Kingdom. In return, you will receive the greatest treasure any person could ever possess: an everlasting relationship with Jesus Christ.

This is a lesson for myself as much as it is for anyone else.

Anything in this life that causes you to stumble in your faith—a job, a relationship, your phone, your pride, your ego, or anything else—cut it off. It is better to lose the temporary things of this life than to lose sight of eternity. The things of this world will pass away, but your soul will last forever.

I write these blog posts fully aware that God is real. Because of that, I cannot stay silent about the Truth that is Jesus Christ.

Now that this message is in front of you, you have been presented with that Truth.

This knowledge is not a burden—it is a blessing.

For those who repent, believe in Christ, and trust in His sacrifice, there is forgiveness, hope, and eternal life.

The world offers temporary treasures that fade away.

Jesus Christ offers an eternal treasure that can never be taken from you.
