I am grateful for my country and the freedoms I have been given. But as much as I love my nation, my greatest allegiance belongs to Jesus Christ.
Nations rise and fall, cultures change, and earthly kingdoms come and go. The Kingdom of God, however, is eternal. My identity is not ultimately found in the flag I live under—it is found in the Savior who died for my sins and rose again.
I created this shirt to remind people that loving your country and loving Jesus are not the same thing. My prayer is that this design encourages believers to be thankful for their nation while keeping Christ above everything else.
