Forgiveness can be one of the hardest things we are ever called to do. Yet Jesus made it clear that those who have been forgiven by God are also called to forgive others (see Matthew 6:14–15).
When I struggle to forgive someone, I remind myself of the cross. My sins required a Savior, and Jesus Christ willingly gave His life so that I could be forgiven. If God has shown me that kind of mercy, how can I refuse to show mercy to others?
I created this shirt to remind people that forgiveness is at the heart of the Gospel. My prayer is that this design encourages believers to extend the same grace they have received through Jesus Christ and points others to the incredible mercy found at the cross.
